Congratulations on this incredible milestone. Your appointees are about to begin an unforgettable journey filled with challenge, growth, leadership, and lifelong friendships. We are excited to welcome you into our USAFA family and look forward to supporting one another throughout this adventure.

Here are some important upcoming dates for the Class of 2030:

  • May 13, 2026 | 8:00–10:00 PM EST - BCT Call for 2030 Appointee Parents

  • June 14, 2026 | 12:00–2:00 PM - USAFA Parent’s Club of Eastern Michigan – Meet & Greet.

  • June 23, 2026 - In-Processing Day (I-Day):. This is the official start for incoming cadets. Families can watch them begin their journey up the Honor Ramp.

  • Late June to early August 2026 - Basic Cadet Training (BCT): . A six-week indoctrination program.

  • Early August 2026 - Acceptance Day Parade: marks the end of BCT and acceptance into the Cadet Wing).

  • September 4-6, 2026 (typically Labor Day weekend) - Parents' Weekend: Includes briefings and a look into the cadet routine.

Class of 2030 - Meet and Greet
Join us as we welcome the upcoming Class of 2030!

The event will feature a keynote speaker, followed by an interactive Q&A session to answer questions from Class of 2030 parents and cadets.

We will also host a Zoom session exclusively for cadets, where our C3, C2, and C4 cadets will share their experiences and insights on the following topics
- Mindset during Basic
                   - Adjusting to the academic year
- Classes and majors
     - Clubs and airmanship
The Zoom session will conclude with an open Q&A for cadets.
